Please join me in welcoming Josh Spence to our team as our Chief Information Officer. Josh most recently served as the Chief Information Officer for the State of West Virginia. Josh is a living testament to our core values of hard work, dedication to the community, and unwavering commitment to our state. Having been born and raised in West Virginia, and a proud alumnus of St. Albans High School, Josh's roots run deep within our community. His dedication to serving the state is evidenced by his illustrious career with the Air National Guard since 2000, where he showcased resilience and adaptability, transitioning from security forces to communications/cyber roles and becoming a commissioned officer in 2016. Josh's academic pursuits at Marshall University mirror the kind of determination and drive we uphold at Alpha. Beyond his professional and academic achievements, Josh's family values and commitment to community service further exemplify the ethos of our company. As an Eagle Scout, the Cub Master of local pack 236, and a small group leader at the Gateway Christian Church, Josh has demonstrated time and again his commitment to fostering community growth and engagement.

Governor Justice had this to say about Josh in his Press Release: "Please join me in wishing Josh all the best in the next chapter of his career," Gov. Justice said. "Josh is a superstar who's not only served as our state CIO but also actively serves in the WV Air National Guard as a cyber operations officer. He's done incredible work as our first appointed state CIO leading the Office of Technology and modernizing our state's technology, and I know that he will continue to do incredible work wherever his career takes him."
